OK OK, so I know we keep harping on about it – however, for any of you who didn't know... we were winners at this year's Cream Yorkshire Awards for our 'Little Book of Sense'.
The Cream Awards are one of the most highly acclaimed in the industry and this year saw the launch of Cream Yorkshire, which gave all Yorkshire based agencies the chance to compete against industry peers and gain recognition and reward for their creativity.
10 Associates Creative Director Jill Peel said, “It’s great to be recognised in the design world for the work we do. We believe great design can help build great businesses, especially in the current economic climate. Creative thinking and innovation will help businesses through these testing times, of that there is NO doubt. Awards are great but making a difference to a businesses bottom line through design is even better!!”
The Sense project started last year when they approached 10 to rebrand their Leeds based web company. As part of the ongoing promotion of the rebrand, a powerful marketing tool was required to get them noticed by some BIG names. They needed a direct mail piece, which would not only WOW potential clients, but would hang around their offices! They also needed a smart giveaway for the Internet World Exhibition. Combining both budgets to maximise their return on investment, the stylish hard back case bound book… ‘A Little Book of Sense’ was born!!
It has generated interest from and got them in front of some big players on Sense’s wish list of clients and went down a storm at the 2008 Internet World Exhibition at London’s Earls Court, getting blogged about online about being the best give away!!
Sense have since gone on to win this year's Insider Magazine and Yorkshire Forward’s awards for Best Web Design Agency in Yorkshire, and are regional finalists in the National Business Awards!
Great times are ahead for 10 with three new account wins in as many weeks and their appointment of Alexa Kerr to the team.
