We have been surprising farmers around the country with a pop-out direct mail piece! Part of a comprehensive campaign, including brand creation, for KW alternative animal feeds.
The campaign commenced on 2nd February with large profile advertising in Farmers Weekly (which has a circulation of over 70,000 farmers). Following the advertising we have planned a targeted direct mail shot to over 3,000 core Dairy and Beef prospects, all of which have been carefully selected because of their proximity to one of the blending sites.
The campaign focuses on the unique skills and expertise that KW has to offer as a blends supplier – a massive range of feed materials, coupled with the technical knowledge of how to get the very best out of them. The campaign is figure-headed by an established KW blends customer who farms at Darlington – Mr John Archer.
John is a well respected farmer and is renowned for his 325 cow pedigree Jersey herd, from which he produces his own ‘Archer’s Jersey Ice Cream’!
The campaign will also be featured on the KW website. By year end, the target is to have sold an additional 10,000t of blend, a 13% increase on last year. This campaign is designed to help achieve this.
