Nicky Pattinson

Most people will say on hearing Nicky speak for the first time that the ‘voice doesn’t match the persona’, those low (and often LOUD!!!) Yorkshire tones quite often come as a surprise. Not for people who know however, that Nicky was born into a horsey farming family on the hills above ‘Last of the Summer Wine’s’ Holmfirth.

At 30 she got married and her then husband bought an indoor market stall selling cakes and biscuits – she soon went to join him.

The resulting time there was nothing less than a phenomenon. £1000 to £1.5 million in 2 years, 20 years ago... not only that, but the business related to every single customer who stood in the queue. The company owned a unique space with everyone who worked there, bought there, or had any contact in any way... bet you wish yours did!!.”
