Born and raised in Liverpool, David’s enjoyed a 20-year love affair with the creative industry and all things brand.
After studying Art & Design at St Helen’s Art College, he worked with a selection of the region’s leading brand and design teams before spotting a demand for an agency that does things differently, and an opportunity to start one of his own. With the help of the best professionals he’d teamed up with along the way, David started 10 Associates in 2004. In 2009 he was listed in the Who’s Who of Britain’s Business Elite.
In his work as MD at 10, David’s role is to outline and pursue a clear but ambitious direction for the agency and its people. Responsible for business development, David sees effective client management, intelligent brand strategy and peerless creativity as the key drivers for the success of both 10 and its clients. David’s absolutely fanatical about the power of great branding, and the depth of his understanding comes from many years of close collaboration with brands including Princes, Virgin, Graham & Brown, Sony and Yorkshire Bank. What David doesn’t know about branding, probably isn’t worth knowing.
True job satisfaction for David comes from seeing clients achieve real success with the help of 10’s strategic input and creative work using the Brandschool™ programme. Outside the office his interests include art, theatre and travelling to out-of-the-way places most of us can’t even pronounce.
